Salam alaykoum wa rahmatou Allah wa barakatouh,
The idea of this post is to show non muslims why our religion is great.
Thus I would like you to share here different reasons that made you choose this religion in any aspect (personal, social, economic, ...).
I am definitly convinced that we can reach the thousand reasons and maybe more.
I'll start with myself and list some of them. I hope that we'll reach our aim with your contributions and touch the largest number of people.
You can make your contributions in any language, it will be a pleasure for us to translate it.
1. Islam allows you to be in permanent contact with Allah (5 prayers)
2. Ask Allah without any mediator
3. You are always clean (ablutions)
4. A true muslim thinks about others before himself
5. Different ways to worship (Prayers, Fast, Hajj, Zakat, ...)
6. Quran gives you a real way of life and how to behave with others
7. Quran is the words of Allah to his prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and has not been changed trough the years
8. Muslims are peaceful despite what some people tend to think
9. Islam honours women and gives them more rights than any other modern society
10. Islam protects children in general and orphans in particular
11. Islam differentiates between what is right and what is wrong
12. Muslims glorify totally the One and Only God
13. Nothing is forced in Islam even the fact of embrassing Islam
14. Islam prohibits robbery, alcohol and many more bad behaviors.
15. Muslims must believe in other prophets and scriptures.
16. A true muslim knows that Allah constantly observes his every gestures. Thus he can not cheat in anything he is doing.
